HERMES is an international non-profit organisation bringing together European researchers working in the fields of migration, ethnic relations and minority studies.
Established in 2004, HERMES aims at promoting competence in international comparative research and at facilitating international co-operation among European researchers.
Specially to early-stage researchers, HERMES offers unique possibilities to communicate, explore and learn from the differences of disciplines, cultures and research traditions inside the EU – providing the ground for the future state of European social science in the field of migration.
Founded for a significant part by women, HERMES aims at promoting their relevance within European social science.
